Marriage is both everywhere and central. All across our country, in every region, every social class, every race and ethnicity, every religion or non-religion, people get married. For many if not most people, moreover, marriage is not a trivial matter. It is a key to the pursuit of happiness, something people aspire to—and keep aspiring to, again and again, even when their experience has been far from happy.

With regards to same sex marriage, Legal Beagle is proud to be among a fast-growing list of supporters of Equal Love HK, an initiative advocating the legal recognition of same-sex relationships in Hong Kong. Marriage Equality not only aligns with our beliefs and values but also promotes justice and fairness for all. This initiative sends a strong and clear signal to society that everyone should be able to marry who they love. Being able to choose your partner is a basic human right and Legal Beagle stands with Equal Love’s determination to bring change to Hong Kong in support of this right.
