Let’s get to know Rujuta Pradhan. She is Legal Beagle’s original Marketing Goddess. Need we say more? She loves star gazing, riding bikes, music and writing when she is not working (or maybe when she is working, and that’s okay with us). She’s a digital marketing & sales consultant with 12+ years of experience in email marketing, content creation, digital design overview, and sales planning. She specializes in targeted marketing for email, social media, and web applications to drive better digital engagement.
What does your job entail?
Rujuta: Planning and executing email campaigns, creating outreach strategies, developing digital conversion plans.
What is a typical day like?
Rujuta: I start my day at 5:30 am with some exercise – like to get that done before I get involved in anything else. Breakfast is a must for me – I never skip that. Then I start my work day with going through the emails and creating a to-do list for the day. I clock in 4 hours of work before lunch. I tend to get most of the administrative stuff and calls done by then. Post lunch I take a break of 40 mins where I indulge myself in some reading. It helps me disconnect from work for a while. After this break, I start with the strategy and creative tasks. A cup of tea and music of my choice during this time put me in that zone where I am more efficient. I continue to work till 6 pm when I again take a small break of 20 minutes. After that I get back to work and end up having meetings with designers, sales teams, delivery heads, website teams, and marketing teams. I eat my dinner, which is extremely light, at my work desk. I wrap up my day by 11 pm exhausted but also satisfied.
What do you like most about your job?
Rujuta: I like the digital profiling part the most. It’s almost as if I understand a person based on the digital behavior they display. I get a sense of what is driving their actions, what they would be looking for, and what we can provide them to meet their needs. And all this happens without ever putting a face to the name!
What do you like most about Legal Beagle?
Rujuta: The open and inviting culture of the team. We are always asked for ideas and no matter how simple or complex they are, they are heard and evaluated. It is a place where you can just walk up to the leadership team and share your thoughts. There is also a great deal of mutual respect that the team has for each other. This is something that is hard to come by.

Rujuta: Reading, star gazing, and riding my bike.
