Our Maintaining Wellness Ideas (Keys to maintaining wellness)

Now in its second year, World WellBeing Week provides the opportunity for participants worldwide to promote an overall awareness for the wide-ranging aspects of wellbeing. Behind Legal Beagle’s success are individuals who are really good at maintaining their personal wellbeing. We would like to share our own ways of keeping up our wellness. Based on group discussions, here are some of our ideas, 6 keys to maintaining wellness.
Keys to maintaining wellness:
  1. Rest
Rest and relaxation reduces stress and improves overall health. It helps improve your focus
  1. Rehydrate
Drinking enough water each day is crucial for many reasons: to regulate body temperature and keep organs functioning properly. Being well-hydrated also improves sleep quality, cognition, and mood.
  1. Exercise
Take a walk, a run or even you own ways of exercising at home. All exercise will contribute to keeping your heart and mind healthy. Exercise will improve your mood and enhance your sleep.
  1. Improve diet
Good nutrition is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle. Combined with physical activity, your diet can help you to reach and maintain a healthy weight, reduce your risk of chronic diseases and promote your overall health.
  1. Team Support
We constantly encourage each and every one from the team. We have proven that having a support system has many positive benefits, such as higher levels of well-being, better coping skills and a longer and healthier life. Studies have also shown that social support can reduce depression and anxiety.
  1. Meditation
It can help us to eliminate negative thoughts, worries, anxiety and all factors that can prevent us feeling happy. It has been proved that the practice of meditation, carried out on a regular basis, will mitigate the symptoms of stress and anxiety.
Our company, Legal Beagle would also like to take this opportunity to promote awareness for aspects of wellbeing including emotional and mental wellbeing in the legal profession. We are happy to introduce our CPD courses: Mental Health Awareness for Lawyers and Prevention of Substance Abuse in the Legal Profession.
