Course Description
This is a three part risk management course. It includes Managing your time, self, clients and projects. In this course you will learn how you manage yourself, how you can best manage your time, so that you can cope with the demands of a busy practice, and how you manage
projects.
This is a fundamental core skill course and complete project management guide for lawyers. In this course you will learn how you manage your clients and your interactions with clients. The focus is on risk management, but you will also explore more holistic overview of how you can manage these competing demands that you come through, the experience of having a busy practice, not just safely, but hopefully
enhanced and improved. You will learn new key skills of client management, and how you can achieve a successful result for your clients and how you can leverage that to achieve repeat business.
Speaker’s Bio:
Gillian Carrington is a British barrister. She practiced for many years at the London Bar specialising in public and environmental law and was appointed directly to the Attorney General’s A panel of counsel (environmental law). After moving to the City of London law firms she specialised in cross-border regulatory work. She currently lives in Berlin where she works with German and British law firms. She is a co-author of Sweet & Maxwell’s Information Rights and has contributed to Halsbury’s Laws.
